About The Role
Weâre looking for a Senior Multimedia Designer to join our Creative Studio and the wider Marketing team at Pleo. In this role, youâll help bring creative concepts to life across various media, with a focus on high-quality visual assets and video content, for both paid media and marketing campaigns. This is a highly collaborative role that requires both creative vision and technical proficiency. If youâre excited about bringing your design skills and technical expertise into a high-performing creative team and are passionate about advertising, then this is the opportunity for you!
Who Youâll Be Working With And Reporting To
Youâll report to our Associate Director of Creative Studio and work closely with teams in Brand Foundations, PMM, PR & Comms. Our team of six is a highly collaborative, dedicated, multidisciplinary creative unit (designers, copywriters, motion designers) which will always provide the support you need in your day to day role. Youâll also have the chance to be âin the roomâ with teams across Product, Sales and CX to bridge the gap between financial functionality and highly creative solutions.
What Youâll Be Doing
- Lead and facilitate ideation and creative brainstorming sessions to develop innovative concepts for performance marketing ads.
- Generate high-level creative ideas and strategic concepts that align with marketing goals.
- Translate creative briefs and strategic goals into tangible design and production requirements.
- Oversee the testing and iteration of creative assets to optimise performance, working closely with strategists and paid media teams to understand what works and why.
- Design and produce a range of static and digital creative assets maintaining brand consistency and visual standards across all produced materials.
- Be hands on the entire post-production workflow.
What You Bring
- A multimedia designer portfolio of well-crafted, impactful design work that demonstrates your ability to work across a broad range of brand marketing touchpoints.
- Exceptional capacity in conceptualising and crafting creative ideas that deliver simple, beautiful assets to delight our customers and drive business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong understanding of branding principles application.
- Exceptional capacity in assessing all creative outputs meet high standards of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency across different channels and markets.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Exceptional post production tooling abilities (editing, motion design, sound and VO).
Why is this role a good fit for you
- Youâre a full-stack creator and love to see ideas come together from brief to execution.
- You are a multi-tool expert: you arenât boxed into one software. This role is a playground for someone who enjoys jumping between different softwares.
- You are a passionate storyteller, able to bring concepts to life through emotion while maintaining a strong understanding of Brand values and business goals.
This role is not a good fit for you if:
- You dislike fast-paced iteration: the role's iterative nature will be frustrating.
- You feel stretched when you are asked to jump across different disciplines.
- You donât have a âget doneâ attitude.
How Youâll Develop In This Role
In your first three months at Pleo, youâll:
- Execute on a number of assets across performance marketing and integrated campaigns, deep diving into processes, our Brand values and ways of working.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Creative Producer to refresh and iterate our ads.
- Grow your skills in performance marketing and beyond, taking on new challenges as the company continues to scale.
We are dedicated to supporting your professional growth. This includes opportunities to take on larger-scale projects, transition into leadership roles and build new competencies.
Please note: We can hire on a remote, hybrid or in-person set-up in any of the locations listed on the advert but you will need to be physically based in the country of your choice with a valid right to work. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role in any of the listed locations.

- Team call: a 45-minute panel to present your task and discuss with the team.
- Final interview: a 30-minute call with the Director of Brand & Content Marketing whoâll walk you through the big picture and chat about how your role will figure into that.
Transparency is important to us so we also wanted to share some insights about what weâre looking for in applications to ensure you can set yourself up for success!
Last time we hired a Multimedia Designer, only a few were selected for an intro call. Some of the key reasons why previous candidates didnât make it past the application screening stage include:
- CV writing and content: we receive a lot of CVs, and many of them are AI-generated. We love seeing people leverage AIâitâs a big focus for us internally tooâbut without human intervention, these CVs can sometimes become generic and fail to show a candidate in the best light. A top tip from us is to use the âAchieved X, as measured by Y, by doing Zâ formula (credit: Laszlo Bock, ~2014) to give a really clear picture of what youâve worked on.
- A final note: including links to your previous companies' websites is a huge help and allows us to truly understand your background!
- Application care: every single application we receive is reviewed by a human (yes, hundreds of them) because we believe that candidates' efforts should be matched by an equal level of human care. This means that we expect a similar level of attention put into your application. Read and answer the application questions carefully, they make a huge difference in our decision-making process.
- Profile to role fit: highlight most important aspects of the role, points that might get misunderstood, any specific industry requirements etc.
About Your Application
Please submit your application in English; itâs our company language so youâll be speaking lots of it if you join. We treat all candidates equally: If you are interested please apply through our application system - any correspondence should come from there! Our lovely support team isn't able to pass on any calls/ emails our way - and this makes sure that the candidate experience is smooth and fair to everyone. We can only achieve our goals if our team reflects the diversity of the world around us - and that starts with you, hitting apply, even if you are worried you might not tick all the boxes. We embrace and encourage people from all backgrounds to apply - regardless of race/ethnicity, colour, religion, nationality, gender, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, neurodiversity, socio-economic status, culture or beliefs.
