Pleo is on a mission to simplify spend management for finance teams and employees alike, empowering them with streamlined, effective solutions. With 40,000+ customers and more than 850 employees from over 100 nationalities, we thrive on turning complex problems into simple, impactful outcomes.

As a Product Marketing Director, you’ll architect Pleo’s market dominance, driving sustainable growth by mastering the intersection of customer needs and Pleo’s core value proposition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Segment Growth Mastery (SMB, Mid‑Market, Enterprise)
  • Strategic segmentation: define and refine the 'How we Win' strategy for our three core segments and develop bespoke messaging houses tailored to each market tier.
  • Targeted GTM motions: design growth programmes focused on increasing penetration within specific ICPs, moving beyond generic outreach.
  • Obsess over Product‑Market Fit (PMF): use win/loss analysis and customer feedback to identify gaps that unlock growth in existing segments.
  • Refining the core: re‑launch and better‑package our product suite to ensure customers derive maximum value from every platform pillar.
  • Commercial packaging & value realisation: collaborate with Product and Pricing teams to optimise bundles and tiers for target segments.
  • Verticalisation: translate our horizontal spend‑management solution into vertical‑specific narratives (e.g., Construction, Tech, Professional Services).
  • Enable the field to win: create asset decks, objection handlers and battle cards that empower sales and CS teams.
  • Up‑market transition: build collateral and trust‑building assets (case studies, security briefs, ROI calculators) for Enterprise expansion.

What You Bring:

  • Growth mindset: enjoy optimizing an existing proposition as much as launching new ones.
  • Segment expertise: understand the nuances of selling to different organisational sizes and pivot strategies accordingly.
  • Analytical rigor: uncover the 'why' behind win/loss rates and steer product & commercial decisions with data.
  • Storytelling prowess: translate complex financial‑tech concepts into compelling, must‑have narratives for CFOs.

Why this role is a good fit for you:

  • Love the commercial side of marketing with a direct link to ARR growth.
  • Enjoy deep‑diving into customer psychology across segments.
  • Work in a high‑growth environment where PMMs have a seat at the table in product strategy.

This role is not a good fit for you:

  • Prefer purely top‑of‑funnel creative brand awareness campaigns.
  • Only enjoy Day‑1 product launches and find optimization tedious.
  • Prefer siloed work over cross‑functional collaboration with Sales and Product.

The location: Remote, hybrid, or in‑person options are available at any listed location. You must be physically based in the country of your choice with a valid right to work. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role.

Show Me The Benefits:

  • Your own Pleo card (no more out‑of‑pocket spending).
  • Lunch on us for workdays – enjoy catered meals or a lunch allowance.
  • Comprehensive private healthcare (Vitality, Alan or MĂ©dis depending on location).
  • 25 days of holiday plus public holidays.
  • Hybrid and fully remote working options for the team.
  • Free mental health and well‑being support via MyndUp.
  • Paid parental leave to support families without compromising work.
