PLL Group is the home of All Star Camps, Rising Star Childcare, SkillZone Soccer and PLL Education. We have been working with schools and communities for 20 years delivering high quality sports coaching and childcare.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coach to deliver engaging and fun after-school sports clubs at a primary school in Kingston-upon-Thames. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in sports coaching, particularly with primary-aged children.
Working Hours
- Monday: Multi-Sport (Key Stage 1), 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
- Tuesday: Football (Key Stage 2), 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate after school sports sessions for Key Stage 1 and 2 students on Mondays and Tuesdays.
- Ensure all sessions are safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for all participants.
- Manage the group effectively, ensuring all children are engaged and supported.
- Provide feedback and encouragement to children.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience in coaching sports to children, preferably in a primary school setting.
- Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., FA Level 1/2 for football, or equivalent for other sports).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young children.
- A passion for sport and physical activity.
- First aid and safeguarding certificates.
