Business Analyst – Financial Crime Enhancement Programme

6‑month Fixed Term Contract with September Start; Hybrid Working from our Wimbledon Office.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support our Financial Crime Enhancement Programme (FCEP), focused on building a best‑in‑class financial crime control framework across multiple jurisdictions. The programme covers policy and governance; target operating model design and delivery; customer and entity screening; KYC; and claims and payment controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business, functional and data requirements.
  • Translate regulatory and policy requirements into clear delivery requirements.
  • Analyse current processes and define future‑state solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across the business.
  • Support option assessments and solution design activities.
  • Create and maintain requirements traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support testing activities, including defining and reviewing test cases.
  • Ensure solutions align with business objectives, regulatory expectations and operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial crime, compliance or a regulated environment.
  • Strong experience defining business, functional and data requirements.
  • Knowledge of financial crime controls, including KYC, screening or related processes.
  • Experience working across business and technology teams on change initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions, identify gaps and drive clarity in complex environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
