The CSI Department is recruiting for a Customer Support Representative to join a busy team within Service Operations. This role offers an opportunity to expand your service knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with a fantastic experience by solving problems and addressing discrepancies in their policies.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TrustPilot and LinkedIn) and other methods.
  • Deal with data merges and breaches, investigate discrepancies, and solve customer problems while on the call.
  • Manage social media customer service, including booking repairs, answering queries, and raising complaints.
  • Review and respond to TrustPilot, Facebook, and Google reviews.
  • Set up and manage JL Furniture customer plans, D&G employee discount and JL Protect Plus plans.
  • Process “Signet calls” from jewellery plan customers at H. Samuel, Ernest Jones, and Lesley Davies.
  • Assist HSBC, AO, Argos and Game customers with technical issues on laptops and PCs.

Work Hours & Environment

The role follows a shift pattern from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm. Weekend work includes two full weekends – one Saturday and one Sunday in every eight weeks. The position can be fully remote or hybrid.

Training & Development

You will receive extensive training, including technical support training to handle customer issues first‑hand.

  • Excellent repair knowledge.
  • Self‑motivated and capable of working autonomously or home‑based.
  • Strong communication skills, building rapport, listening, and demonstrating empathy.
  • Multi‑tasker, navigating several systems while communicating with customers on the phone.
