JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create SOPs for Food Safety Management in accordance with ISO 22000
- Closely liaise with all support departments and implement the SOPs by mentoring, training, and evaluating the colleagues
- Lead internal and coordinate external audits to ensure highest scores
- Responsible to establish audit requirements to ensure compliance with ISO 22000
- Lead risk assessment, gap analysis and Risk management
- Ownership of Hygiene Operating Manual and other relevant documentation.
- Responsible for the Food Safety Management System [FSMS] program/s
- Build a positive Food Safety, health, and Hygiene culture across the business units
- Identify and analyses potential hazards and risk areas using ISO 22000 and HACCP methodology
- Act as a liaison and advisor with relevant departments and external parties where necessary
- Support relevant sites with HACCP accreditation
- Streamline online training requirements including visitation audits.
- Understanding of stakeholder management and risk management.
- Assist and develops corrective actions and compliance by working with business units as necessary
- Work on development of materials, learning aids & ensuring training is recorded per L&D standards.
- Prepare documentation to support quality audits for ISO or HACCP
- Identify and report structural deficiencies in the food operation related to food safety and Hygiene
- Manage and maintain an effective pest management system.
- Manage and review food complaints effectively
- Lead the Preventive Maintenance schedules with facilities management in charge
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 10 years’ management experience in an international chain hotel or Airline Food Catering industry at Manager level
- Master’s in microbiology or related field
- Hold certifications or accreditation for UK.
- Experienced in ISO 22000, the internationally recognized standard that combines the ISO9001 approach to food safety management and HACCP for the assurance of food safety at all levels.
- Pre-Opening or new project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in food science and/or Food Technology
- Understanding of HACCP qualification and HAACP experience from implementation to execution
- Possess good online training, on the job training and coaching skills
- Knowledge in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong analytical & data-driven mindset
- Is good at establishing directions; setting goals, lays out work in a well-planned and organized manner; maintains two-way dialogue with colleagues on work and result orientated.
