Hours - Monday - Friday 7.30 am - 9.00 am, term time.
As Deputy Manager you will be supporting the Club Manager overseeing the day to day running of the breakfast club, providing a safe and stimulating play environment for the children attending the club. You will work in line with the standards set out by CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) and Playworks Childcare Policies and Procedures managing a team of staff under your leadership.
Responsibilities:- Assisting in the day to day running of the club, setting up the club and cleaning at the end of the session.
- Working in partnership with parents to plan for the individual needs and preferences of the children.
- Providing opportunities for play and learning which encourage all areas of development, working with your team to plan and deliver these activities.
- Ensuring that the club is welcoming and friendly, while taking into account all health and safety issues.
- Providing the children with a healthy and nutritious breakfast.
- Ensuring that all the policies set out are adhered to at all times.
- The successful applicant must hold a level 3 CCLD or Level 3 Playwork qualification and have experience working in a CIW regulated setting.
- An Enhanced DBS check is required for the role.
