Playworks Early Days Nursery is looking for a friendly, caring and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice to join our team.
The role
You will be working as part of a friendly nursery team, helping to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children from 3 months old.
Your main duties will include:
Caring for and supervising children in a nursery environment
Supporting children's learning, development and play
Planning and taking part in fun and engaging activities
Helping with children's personal care, meals and daily routines
Ensuring children are safe, happy and well cared for
Working closely with colleagues as part of a team
Building positive relationships with children, parents and carers
Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
Caring, friendly and enthusiastic
Patient and able to work well with young children
Reliable and responsible
Able to work well as part of a team
Keen to learn and develop their childcare skills
Passionate about providing high-quality care for children
