Playworks Early Days Nursery is looking for a friendly, caring and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice to join our team.
The role
You will be working as part of a friendly nursery team, helping to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children from 3 months old.
Your main duties will include:
- Caring for and supervising children in a nursery environment
- Supporting children's learning, development and play
- Planning and taking part in fun and engaging activities
- Helping with children's personal care, meals and daily routines
- Ensuring children are safe, happy and well cared for
- Working closely with colleagues as part of a team
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and carers
- Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures
We are looking for someone who is:
- Caring, friendly and enthusiastic
- Patient and able to work well with young children
- Reliable and responsible
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Keen to learn and develop their childcare skills
- Passionate about providing high-quality care for children
