- Have 3+ years of professional experience with a modern programming language, with a strong preference for Python.
- Possess experience working with Linux or Unix systems
- Demonstrate a strong interest in Python and open-source technologies
- Are able to learn on the job and show an aptitude for solving complex technical problems

- Solid experience with relational databases
- Experience working in a highly technical environment and solving complex problems
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ), and NoSQL datastores (e.g., MongoDB)

- Proficiency in Python, particularly with the Tornado framework
