Your influential mission. You will be...
- Brainstorming new game ideas and evaluating feasibility.
- Creating spreadsheets and bespoke tools to model the maths for these games.
- Collaborating with the developers to ensure that the maths models are correctly implemented and debugging any errors.
- Creatively balancing the games to provide good gameplay experiences, to create profitable and successful slots, and to categorise and the maths.
- Playing and researching games, reporting on current trends.
- Liaising with maths providers within internal companies.
- Representing the mathematical creation and output for Psiclone games to various external companies and internal Playtech sister companies.
- Researching and analysing successful slot games, features and balances, to make data-driven decisions.
- Reviewing existing models and adapting these for specific markets.
- Producing documentation detailing the implementation and theory of the models.
- Drawing conclusions from historical statistical analysis on slot statistics, profits, rankings and player behaviour.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Maths, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficiency with Excel formulas.
- Good knowledge of probability and statistical modelling.
- The ability to produce and maintain technical documents.
- The ability to clearly communicate concepts and methods.
- Critical thinking and attention to detail.

- Experience with a programming language (C++/C#…).
- Knowledge of Excel VBA.
- Familiarity with Monte Carlo methods and Markov Chains.
