Role Overview: The PlayStation Network Advertising team is a dynamic, global advertising sales organisation focused on driving innovation and delivering value within the gaming and entertainment ecosystem. We are growing the team and seeking an experienced, service-oriented, sales and marketing professional to build long-term advertising partnerships with PlayStation's key Partners. The Client Partner acts as a trusted consultant and strategic leader, owning the success of their client portfolio with a strong focus on revenue retention, growth, and long-term partnership development. This role is responsible for facilitating and shaping business activity across EMEA, assessing and advancing regional initiatives while aligning closely with global strategy. The Client Partner plays an integral role within the Network Advertising team, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to develop impactful marketing opportunities, execute PlayStation's strategic initiatives, and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
As PlayStation prepares to launch new advertising products and solutions, the Client Partner will work closely with their manager, cross-functional teams, and media agencies to bring these innovations to market, driving adoption and commercial success. Success in this role requires a passion for entertainment, strong consultative sales and analytical capabilities, a commitment to outstanding client service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-focused environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs, drive strategic discussions, and guide partners through our value proposition.
- Define objectives and provide thorough recommendations on how to best leverage the PlayStation platform.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with client stakeholders at all levels.
- Deliver holistic client success measured by revenue growth/profitability, new product and solutions uptake, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and update revenue tracking documentation, pipeline and opportunities, and report revenue forecast predictions to internal stakeholders.
- Build rapport across the Sony organisation and work with cross-functional teams to build business cases which support advertising revenue growth.
- Operate as the primary point of contact for all matters specific to your clients, acting as the escalation point for client issues.
- Represent PlayStation by acting fairly, with integrity and with the highest ethical standards in external partner meetings.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of working experience in gaming or entertainment, digital media, marketing or advertising industries.
- Strong understanding of PlayStation, our ecosystem, and its core players.
- Proven track record of delivering multi-channel advertising campaigns with familiarity of advertising best practices, trends, terms & conditions.
- Demonstrated ability of achieving profitable revenue growth.
- Experience working in and navigating a large or high-growth organisation with many cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to structure, negotiate, and maintain significant and complex strategic relationships.
- A true team player that nurtures and develops team members and cross-functional partners.
- Ability to travel as required.
