We are currently seeking an ESG Specialist to join us in our London office. In this role, you will contribute to advancing SIE’s ESG initiatives with a focus on sustainability reporting and the assessments that inform our ESG strategy and disclosures.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the ESG Specialist you will work closely with the Director of ESG and internal collaborators to ensure robust processes and high‑quality disclosures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with updates for materiality, climate risk, and human rights/environmental due diligence through research, data collection, collaborator engagement, and coordination with third parties.
  • Contribute to drafting disclosure text, gathering and validating data, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Help establish and maintain audit‑ready processes for ESG data management and reporting, including tracking key performance indicators and ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Work with internal data owners and teams to align on reporting requirements and timelines.
  • Contribute to internal and external communications on sustainability topics (e.g., intranet updates, newsletters, report content, and website updates) to keep employees and collaborators informed and engaged.
  • Monitor evolving ESG reporting standards and frameworks to ensure compliance and adherence to guidelines.
  • Find opportunities to improve ESG processes and reporting efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is analytical, meticulous, and adaptable, someone who can learn quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Desirable skills/experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or sustainability‑related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or related roles—consulting or corporate experience preferred.
  • Experience in the technology, gaming, or entertainment industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., ISSB, SASB, TCFD, CSRD) and sustainability regulations.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and adjust to evolving demands.
  • Proven capability to handle several projects simultaneously, prioritise efficiently, and adjust to changing demands.
  • Proven track record of working closely and building positive relationships with internal and external collaborators in a matrixed organisation.
