Why Sony Interactive Entertainment? Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
About us: Our Creative Services team shapes how millions of players experience PlayStation every day. From global campaigns to PlayStation Store, we create work that sits at the intersection of brand and performance. As our briefs evolve, so do we - moving beyond exceptional creative execution towards bigger ideas, stronger storytelling and more strategic thinking. We're looking for creatives who are excited by solving problems, shaping ideas and creating work that connects with players around the world.
Role overview: We're looking for a Senior Creative - someone who combines strong creative craft with strategic thinking. This role is for someone who's excited by getting involved earlier in the creative process: helping shape ideas, uncover insights, build compelling narratives and influence creative direction, while continuing to develop these skills within a collaborative team. We're looking for someone who's curious about culture, understands how audiences discover and consume content, and is excited by creating work that keeps PlayStation relevant, distinctive and emotionally engaging. You'll work across design, copy, motion and agency partners to develop bold, insight-driven creative and communicate those ideas through clear, engaging presentations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow beyond execution, contributing to the thinking behind the work as well as the work itself.
What you’ll be doing:
- Turn briefs into opportunities: You don’t just answer briefs - you challenge them, reshape them, and find the stronger idea within them.
- Shape the idea early: Help identify customer insights and contribute to defining creative positioning, messaging and direction before design begins.
- Build work that stands out: Partner with designers, writers, and creatives to develop ideas that are bold, clear, and on-brand.
- Sell the idea: Create decks and narratives that don’t just show the work - they make people want it.
- Present with impact: Present creative work clearly and confidently, adapting your communication style to different audiences and stakeholders.
- Raise the bar: Bring frameworks, tools, and coaching that help everyone think sharper, pitch better, and communicate more clearly.
What we’re looking for:
- 8+ years' (or equivalent) experience within an agency or in-house creative environment across design, brand, art direction or integrated creative.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating concept development alongside high-quality creative execution.
- Someone who’s comfortable owning the idea, not just the execution.
- Strong instinct for what makes work cut through and connect emotionally.
- Experience contributing to creative thinking as well as delivering outstanding design.
- A natural storyteller - clear, concise, and persuasive.
- Confident building and delivering high-impact decks and presentations.
- Comfortable working across disciplines: design, copy, motion, and beyond.
- Collaborative, ego-free, and driven to make the work better.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Naturally curious with a passion for creativity, culture and entertainment.
About you: You enjoy solving creative problems, not just designing solutions. You know how to simplify complexity - and say only what matters. You can spot the stronger idea and back it with confidence. You're curious, collaborative and eager to learn. You’re as comfortable in a room presenting and explaining your thinking as you are shaping the work. You have good creative judgement and know what makes an idea resonate. You don’t just make work - you help make it chosen. You're passionate about creating work that connects emotionally with audiences. You stay connected to popular culture, emerging trends and how younger audiences consume content and engage with brands. You bring fresh inspiration from outside the gaming industry and are excited by helping PlayStation stay culturally relevant.
