PlayMoreGolf is the UK's leading provider of flexible golf membership, partnering with progressive clubs to grow participation, optimise utilisation, and generate sustainable membership revenue.
The Role
This is a pure new-business role focused on acquiring new golf club partners. Ongoing account management and retention are handled separately by our partnerships team.
You’ll be selling into golf clubs where decisions often involve multiple stakeholders/committees, so deals can be longer-cycle and stop–start rather than quick transactional wins. This role is ideal for a developing B2B salesperson who is coachable, resilient, and wants to build real capability in consultative selling, pipeline discipline, and multi-stakeholder influence.
What you’ll do
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective club partners.
- Influence GM and committee decision making and convert prospects into partners.
- Own monthly new club targets and keep disciplined pipeline reporting/movement.
- Maintain accurate CRM hygiene (HubSpot or similar) and articulate what is real vs noise.
- Feed insights and objections back into marketing to sharpen messaging.
What we’re looking for
- Proven B2B sales/business development experience (stage-appropriate for a £35k base).
- Comfortable generating pipeline proactively and following up consistently.
- Strong resilience and commercial judgement; able to handle objections and longer cycles.
- Organised, self-driven, accountable; confident using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
- Golf/leisure experience helpful but not essential.
What this role is not
- Not account management/retention (handled separately).
- Not a quick-close, high-volume transactional sales role (clubs often decide via committees).
To apply: submit your CV and complete the screening questions in LinkedIn.
