Playground Games is looking for a Graphic Designer to work alongside our talented Operations team in Leamington Spa on an agency contract on a part-time basis.

As a premier first-party Xbox Game Studio, we are passionate about creating genre-defining games that are accessible, beautiful, and, most of all, fun. As we shape the future of our BAFTA award-winning Forza Horizon franchise and bring the next chapter of the beloved Fable series to life, we're looking for exceptional talent to work alongside our talented and diverse team of developers.

As a Graphic Designer, you will join the Operations team and produce designs and graphics for a range of studio resources and business activities including newsletters, posters, event materials, and studio communications. You will work alongside the Admin, Recruitment, HR, Outreach, and Social Media teams to ensure all PG literature is on brand and meets business needs.

This position is offered on an agency contract, with the successful candidate employed by our trusted agency partner and assigned to work with Playground Games. The role is a part-time role based at our state-of-the-art studio in Royal Leamington Spa, operating under our hybrid working model. We welcome conversations around flexible working hours and patterns to help find an arrangement that works for both the successful candidate and the team.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop design concepts from brief to final deliverables
  • Design digital and print assets for in-company and industry events
  • Develop materials for internal and external use that align with brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven relevant creative industry experience
  • A portfolio demonstrating high-quality graphic design work. This portfolio can be submitted as a link to a portfolio website or added as an attachment along with your CV.
  • Games industry experience is nice to have but not essential
  • Strong Graphic Design and Iconography skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • An eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills
