Playground Games is looking for an Associate Producer to support the talented Forza Horizon team here in Leamington Spa.

While this role is based onsite at the Playground Games studio in Leamington Spa, the successful candidate will be engaged via a managed service provider.

Following completion of the interview process, the successful candidate will be connected with the provider for contractual details and onboarding.

About the role

The Associate Producer in this role will be working in a support-role alongside the Senior Producer who oversees the Forza Horizon 6 live service program to deliver best-in-class content and gameplay experiences as part of our regular monthly updates.

You will facilitate communication between multiple development disciplines, aiding the costing, planning, and execution of work.

The ideal candidate is passionate about their craft, familiar with project management and planning, and has the track record to prove it.

What you’ll do

  • Demonstrate sound production process, problem solving, analysis, and curiosity.
  • Create reports and documentation, attend and host meetings and stand-ups.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to cost and schedule work and check progress of delivery.
  • Monitor bug databases, working with QA to ensure accurate reporting of issues during test phases.

What you’ll bring

  • Exposure to a range of project management software packages such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good grasp of game design and technical fundamentals, including console platform considerations
  • Demonstrable Production work on at least 1 published title (ideally AAA).
  • Experience working on a live service title is preferred but not required.
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, and the MS Office package in general.
  • Knowledge of the Forza Horizon franchise is a plus.
