At Playdale Playgrounds we are a dynamic, international business currently in 50 countries, who designs, manufactures, and installs fun, exciting, outdoor playground equipment. We pride ourselves on creating exciting, innovative, and educational outdoor play equipment that makes children smile all over the world.
Due to current growth in our city product range we have a vacancy for a Welder/ Fabricator.
The Role:
- Perform general fabrication and TIG welding of various forms of circular and square hollow section stainless steel fabrications.
- Use of a wide range of fabrication machinery.
- Using jigs to fabricate parts.
- Read, understand and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings and works order instruction.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards.
The Person:
- Experience welding/ fabricating stainless steel and mild steel essential.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Flexible attitude to overtime when required.
- The ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible “can do” attitude to work and good work ethic is essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Ulverston factory (38 hrs per week, with a 12.45pm finish each Friday).
