Playdale Playgrounds is a dynamic, international business operating in 50 countries, designing, manufacturing and installing outdoor playground equipment. We pride ourselves on creating exciting, innovative and educational play equipment that makes children smile worldwide. We are expanding our Timber Production Team and are looking for enthusiastic Production Operatives with experience in a fast-paced workshop environment. You will work as part of our active production team, learning different equipment and processes to become multi-skilled in different departments.

Responsibilities

• General assembly skills and/or experience in joinery/woodworking.
• Accurately assemble by reading drawings and work orders to understand specifications.
• Demonstrate the safe use of machinery and hand tools.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process is completed properly.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

Skills / Experience Required

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has great concentration and precision, ensuring a “right first time” approach. You must have good communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and have a structured approach to planning and managing your workload. Flexibility and a “can do” attitude is also essential. Manufacturing & assembly experience and the ability to understand and follow drawings is desirable but not essential as full training can be offered to the correct candidate showing the right aptitude. Location & Job Details

This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Haverthwaite factory (38 hrs per week).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Salary: £NMW-£30,000.00 per year depending on experience.
