At Playdale Playgrounds Ltd we are a dynamic, international business currently in over 50 countries, who design, manufacture, and install fun, exciting, outdoor playground equipment. About the role (not an exhaustive list):

  • Ensuring the Playground Designers are appropriately trained and developed.
  • Developing and maintaining good individual and team communication internally and externally.
  • Manage and motivate direct reports and schedules, ensuring that optimal output is achieved providing an exceptional service for internal and external customers.
  • Defining problems and finding/implementing solutions that work. Making collaborative decisions about change ensuring effective implementation of resolution.
  • Creating 2D schemes and presentations ensuring that all information and technical details are gathered from the customer to guarantee that schemes are accurate and within the customers budget.
  • Ensuring staff provide accurate, timely and sound information on which decisions can be made effectively.
  • Ensuring that any systems and procedures are adhered to.
  • Maintaining CRM ensuring customer information and records are recorded timely, clear and are concise.
  • To actively monitor attendance and performance of staff.

About you:

  • To excel in this role, the successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to manage people and performance.
  • You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a 'right first time' culture.
  • You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and have a structured approach to planning and managing your workload.
  • Strong analytical skills having ability to deal with data.
  • Highly organised and results oriented.
  • You should have a flair for attractive presentation, having experience of design software packages (in particular AutoCad or similar) and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Our ideal candidate should be competent in Microsoft packages and be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of excel, whilst possessing good numeric skills.
  • An interest in AI is desirable.
  • You should be versatile and able to work in a demanding fast paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
  • You should be self-motivated and organised but above all be creative. You will have the opportunity to turn your ideas into the reality of fun and imaginative play.
