At Playdale Playgrounds we are a dynamic, international business currently in 50 countries, who design, manufacture, and install fun, exciting, outdoor playground equipment. We pride ourselves on creating exciting, innovative, and educational outdoor play equipment that makes children smile all over the world.
Due to continued growth we are expanding our Timber Production Team, we are looking for enthusiastic Production Operatives with experience of working in a fast-paced workshop environment. You will work as part of our active production team learning different equipment and processes, aiding you to become multi-skilled in different departments.
The successful candidates main objectives will be:
General assembly skills and/or experience joinery/woodworking.
Accurately assembly by having a good understanding of specifications by reading drawings and works orders.
Demonstrate the safe use of machinery and hand tools.
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
Skills/Experience required:
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has great concentration and precision, ensuring a right first time approach. You must have good communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and have a structured approach to planning and managing your workload. Flexibility and can do attitude is also essential.
Manufacturing & assembly experience and be able to understand and follow drawings is desirable but not essential as full training can be offered to the correct candidate showing the right aptitude. Playdale are keen to develop the right people with the right attitude.

These are permanent, full-time positions based at our Haverthwaite factory (38 hrs per week).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Salary: £NMW-£28,833.00 per year depending on experience.
