About Us
Playbook Social Ltd is a remote-first, inclusive team working at the intersection of communication, access, and social impact. We run Playbook Social (PBS) and Inclusive Interpreting (II), supporting organisations across the UK to communicate clearly and accessibly — particularly with Deaf and underrepresented communities. We’re a small team that values reliability, good judgment, and thoughtful creative work. As we grow, we’re looking for a Junior Content Designer to support our marketing and client work.
The Role
You’ll work closely with our Marketing Lead to create visual content for clients across social media. The role is hands-on and practical, with space to contribute ideas while also being confident executing briefs and feedback. We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable working independently, managing their own tasks, and delivering consistent, high-quality output in a remote setup. There may be some light client interaction depending on the project.
What You’ll Do
- Create social media content for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook
- Design static posts, carousels, and short-form video content
- Edit and refine work based on feedback from the Marketing Lead and clients
- Follow creative briefs and content plans while keeping designs aligned with brand guidelines
- Help prepare visual assets for presentations and pitches
- Keep creative files and assets organised
- Stay aware of design and social media trends and apply them where appropriate
What We're Looking For
- Around 1–2 years’ experience in content design, graphic design, or social media creative work
- Confident using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
- Basic video editing skills and an understanding of social media formats
- A good eye for design and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and working to deadlines
- Open to feedback and able to apply it
- A portfolio showing relevant creative work
What You’ll Get
- Fully remote (UK-based only) with 3–4 in-person team meets/year
- Laptop + tech setup delivered to you
- Private health insurance (Aviva)
- Pension: 3% employer contribution (via NEST)
- 29 days paid leave (21 annual + 8)
