Looking to get into management but don't have the experience yet?
Playbook Direct is hiring for an Entry Level Management Trainee position in our Manchester office. This is a hands‑on role where you'll learn the business from the ground up, starting with customer‑facing sales before taking on more responsibility within the team.
No previous management or sales experience is required. Full training is provided.
What does the role involve?
You'll start by learning how we work with customers and represent our clients, while developing the skills needed to progress into a leadership position.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Speaking with customers face-to-face at events, retail locations and other venues
- Representing our clients and explaining their products and services
- Learning our sales process and working towards individual and team targets
- Taking part in regular training, coaching and team meetings
- Supporting team members and helping new starters as you develop
- Tracking your own performance and working on areas for improvement
- Taking on additional responsibilities as you progress
As you gain experience, you'll have the opportunity to become more involved in team leadership, training and day-to-day business operations.
Who are we looking for?
You don't need a degree or previous management experience.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Confident speaking to different people
- Reliable and comfortable working as part of a team
- Motivated by targets and personal development
- Open to feedback and willing to learn
- Organised and able to take responsibility
- Interested in developing towards a leadership role
Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service or recruitment is welcome, but it's not essential.
