Treloar’s is a charity which runs one of the UK’s largest specialist education centres for young disabled people to live and learn. Through our school and college, we offer students the opportunity to fully take part in life and achieve their aspirations.

We are looking to recruit a Physiotherapist who will work with students in the field of Paediatric, adolescent and young adult disability, specifically neurology and respiratory care at Treloar. You will assess, treat and manage students with highly complex, acute and chronic presentations. The role requires working as part of a trans‑disciplinary team.

The successful candidate should hold a Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy, registration with the Health Professions Council and CSP membership, and demonstrate wide post‑registration experience. Experience with children and young adults with neurological or respiratory conditions, especially in a school or community setting, is an advantage. Training and support are provided to the right candidate.

Treloar’s provides excellent resources, including two hydrotherapy pools and a bespoke rebound therapy room, with many opportunities for training and professional development.

Salary information:

  • Highly Specialist: £46,014 – £56,220 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Specialist: £37,921 – £45,157 per annum (dependent on experience)

The post holder will receive a salary uplift when the required respiratory competencies are achieved.
