Are you an Ecommerce professional who loves owning the entire journey of a product - from idea and development, through launch and trading, to optimisation and customer demand? At Play Sports Network (PSN), we’re looking for an Ecommerce and Product Manager to take full end-to-end ownership of our Shopify stores across some of the world’s most-loved cycling and endurance sports brands, including Global Cycling Network (GCN), Global Mountain Bike Network (GMBN), Global Tri Network (GTN), and EMBN.

This is a stand-alone, end-to-end role with a focus on product development at the front of the process. You’ll work closely with our Design team, presenters, and content creators to develop cycling apparel and merchandise our audience genuinely wants - using insight, feedback, and performance data to create products that fly off the shelves.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • End-to-End Ecommerce & Product Ownership
    • Own the full ecommerce lifecycle: product ideation & development → range planning → launch → trading → performance analysis → optimisation.
    • Act as the commercial owner of our Shopify stores, ensuring they are aligned with product strategy, audience demand, and brand positioning.
    • Translate audience insight and commercial goals into clear product and trading priorities.
  • Product Development & Range Creation
    • Work closely with the Design team, presenters, and creative teams to develop cycling apparel and merchandise that resonates with our global audience.
    • Gather and analyse customer feedback, sales data, and audience insight to inform product concepts, iterations, and future ranges.
    • Support decisions around fabrics, fits, styles, pricing, and positioning, ensuring products are commercially viable and on-brand.
    • Review product performance post-launch and feed learnings back into future product development cycles.
  • Merchandising, Launches & Trading
    • Own product launches end to end - from setup and storytelling to promotions, bundles, and collections.
    • Ensure products are merchandised effectively across the site to maximise visibility, conversion, and sell-through.
    • Plan and execute trading activity around key launches, seasonal moments, and campaign peaks.
  • Optimisation, Insight & Analytics
    • Use Shopify and Google Analytics to understand customer behaviour, product performance, and conversion drivers.
    • Continuously optimise product pages, collections, and site journeys to improve conversion rate and average order value.
    • Use insight not just to optimise the site, but to influence what products we create next.
  • Growth, Audience & Customer Connection
    • Work with teams across content, email, social, affiliates, and paid media to bring new customers into the ecosystem and re-engage existing fans.
    • Ensure ecommerce activity is tightly connected to our content and presenters - leveraging trust, credibility, and community.
    • Balance acquisition and retention to maximise lifetime value across our global audience.
  • Operations & Customer Experience
    • Coordinate with supply chain and fulfilment teams to align stock levels with launches, campaigns, and demand forecasts.
    • Partner with customer service to ensure feedback loops are captured and acted upon.
    • Maintain stores across multiple languages and currencies with a focus on accuracy and customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in ecommerce with responsibility for commercial performance and product success.
  • Shopify experience, including product setup, merchandising, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to work upstream in product development, not just downstream in trading.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insight and feedback into better products.
  • Comfortable collaborating with designers, creatives, presenters, and operational teams.
  • Confident operating autonomously and owning outcomes end to end.
  • Passion for cycling and triathlon is a bonus - curiosity about the audience is essential.
  • Ability to plan ahead, project manage in order to be ready for key events in the calendar such as next season's range, Black Friday and Christmas.

Why Work With PSN?

  • True end-to-end ownership: From product idea to sold-out launch.
  • Product-led ecommerce: Influence what we create, not just how we sell it.
  • Creative collaboration: Work closely with world-class presenters, designers, and content teams.
  • Global impact: Build products for a passionate international audience of millions.
  • Flexible, inclusive culture: We value balance, diversity, and personal growth.
