The role
Do you love storytelling through video? Are you excited by the idea of working on location, capturing dynamic cycling content with an award-winning team?
We’re on the lookout for a Video Creator to join our Global Cycling Network (GCN) production crew. This is a hands‑on, creative role where you’ll shoot and edit compelling content for one of the most respected cycling channels in the world.
While a love for cycling is definitely a bonus, we welcome people from all backgrounds – whether you're a seasoned filmmaker who enjoys an active lifestyle or a cyclist with a creative spark looking to expand your skills.
You’ll be supported by an experienced team who love sharing knowledge and helping each other grow.
What You’ll Do
- Film and edit video content for GCN channels – both in studio and on exciting locations in the UK and overseas
- Ride and shoot alongside our presenters to capture high‑energy, high‑quality footage (you’ll need to be comfortable cycling on the road)
- Bring your ideas and creativity to every shoot, shaping engaging stories that reflect our brand
- Help develop original video ideas, formats, and visual approaches that shape the future of GCN content
- Collaborate with our production, graphics, and audience development teams to bring each project to life
- Maintain and care for filming equipment in line with company guidelines
- Help us deliver content that informs, inspires, and entertains a global audience of cycling fans
Essential
What You Bring
- Experience filming video content (studio or location)
- Confidence using video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Comfortable using video, lighting, and sound equipment
- Comfortable cycling on the road during shoots
- A valid UK driving licence, passport, and the right to work in the UK
Nice to Have
- Strong interest in cycling culture
- Experience filming sport or fast‑moving subjects
- Knowledge of YouTube‑first storytelling
- Drone, action cam, or gimbal experience
