Junior Presenter - Off-Road Channels (EMBN / GMBN)
Are you a former professional mountain biker with experience of electric mountain biking and a passion for sharing your knowledge?
Play Sports Network (PSN) is looking for a Junior Presenter to join our off-road team, creating videos for EMBN, GMBN and our wider channels across YouTube and social media.
This is an exciting opportunity to turn your professional riding experience into a career in digital media. With a particular focus on EMBN, you'll ride and test bikes, share your technical expertise and help create content for a global audience of passionate mountain bikers.
You don’t need to be an experienced presenter - we'll help you develop those skills. What matters most is your riding background, e-MTB knowledge, personality and willingness to learn. You'll receive coaching and feedback from an experienced team, the majority of whom are also ex-professional riders.
What We're Looking For
- Professional riding experience: You must be a former professional mountain biker with first-hand experience competing at a high level.
- Electric mountain bike knowledge: Experience riding e-MTBs is essential, alongside a good understanding of their technology, components and performance on the trail.
- Strong communication skills: You can explain technical topics clearly and confidently, with excellent spoken and written English.
- A willingness to present: You're keen to get in front of the camera, develop your presenting style and take on feedback and guidance.
- Advanced riding ability: You're confident demonstrating riding techniques, testing bikes and taking part in challenging on-location shoots.
- Creativity and teamwork: You can contribute ideas, work collaboratively and understand what makes content appeal to an online audience.
Previous presenting or filming experience is an advantage, but not essential. We're looking for someone with the right expertise, attitude and potential to grow into the role.
What You'll Do
- Present videos for EMBN, GMBN and our wider off-road channels, in the studio and out on location.
- Ride, test and review bikes and equipment, with a particular focus on electric mountain bikes.
- Help research, develop and script video ideas, from technical explainers and bike reviews to riding challenges and features.
- Develop your on-camera skills with support from experienced presenters and producers.
- Work with the creative and commercial teams to produce content and represent our brand partners professionally.
- Help build our audience through YouTube and social media.
Location & Travel
This is a full-time, on-camera role based predominantly at our studios in Bath, UK. Living locally or being willing to relocate to the Bath/Bristol area is essential.
Based predominantly at our studios in Bath, you'll also film on location across the UK at mountain bike trail centres, bike parks and events, with opportunities to ride and film at destinations overseas. So you must be willing to travel. Some shoots and events involve weekend work or travel outside normal Monday-to-Friday office hours; time off in lieu is provided for additional hours in line with company policy.
