Reports to: Commercial Content Editor
We’re looking for a creative, cycling-obsessed content creator who lives and breathes digital media. Whether that’s road, MTB, gravel or triathlon, you’ll understand what resonates with cycling audiences. Comfortable filming and editing video, you’ll have a good eye for storytelling across social, video and written formats. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and commercial strategy. You’ll play a key part in developing compelling content for commercial proposals, helping bring ideas to life for partners and prospective clients. That means shaping creative concepts that not only engage audiences, but also support commercial partnerships and demonstrate the value of branded content. You’ll be organised, proactive and confident juggling multiple projects, contributing ideas in a collaborative team, and responding effectively to briefs. A genuine interest in digital media, content performance and brand partnerships is essential, along with enthusiasm for our channels and how commercial content integrates authentically. If you’ve created content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram or TikTok, and have some familiarity with branded content, marketing, or performance analytics, that would be even better.
About The Role
Play Sports Network (PSN) is the world’s leading digital cycling and triathlon media company, operating channels including GCN, GMBN, GTN, EMBN, and GCN/GMBN Tech. We create high-quality video content, reaching millions of fans worldwide, with ex-pro presenters who connect authentically with our audiences. We’re looking for a Cycling Content Creator to join our Commercial team. This is a hybrid creative role combining content creation, storytelling, and commercial support. You’ll help bring proposals to life not just through words, but through video, visuals, and motion, enhancing how we pitch to and collaborate with global partners. This role is ideal for a graduate, apprentice, or early-career creator with a passion for cycling and an interest in media, content production, and brand partnerships. We’re open to apprenticeships, degree placements, or flexible/part-time arrangements for those currently studying.
What You’ll Do
- Content Creation & Storytelling
- Create engaging video and visual content to support commercial proposals and pitches.
- Film, edit, and produce short-form and presentation-ready video assets.
- Develop motion graphics and visual storytelling elements to elevate pitch decks and branded ideas.
- Write and edit copy for proposals, presentations, and supporting materials.
- Commercial Content Development
- Help craft compelling multi-format proposals (video, written, visual).
- Research and build case studies of existing PSN content and campaigns.
- Support ideation of creative concepts for brand partnerships and sponsored content.
- Bring proposals to life with innovative, audience-first content ideas.
- Collaboration & Creative Support
- Work closely with the Commercial Content Editor, Creative Director, and wider Commercial team.
- Interpret briefs and contribute to creative responses for commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Insight team to translate performance data into engaging visual stories.
- Support production of pitch materials across multiple formats and platforms.
- Commercial & Partner Responsibilities
- Ensure all content reflects PSN’s premium production quality and brand voice.
- Align creative output with partner objectives and brand guidelines.
- Maintain high attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines.
What You’ll Gain
- Hands-on experience creating commercial and branded content in a global media business.
- Development across video production, motion graphics, and storytelling.
- Exposure to high-profile commercial partnerships and campaigns.
- Mentorship from experienced creative and commercial teams.
- Opportunity to work alongside ex-pro athletes and industry experts.
Why Join Us?
At PSN, you’ll be part of a creative, ambitious team shaping global cycling and triathlon media. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career to learn from the best, work on high-profile commercial projects, and develop their copywriting skills in a professional, real-world environment.
