We are looking for a new Deputy Manager to join the team from September 2026. If you are a qualified Early Years Practitioner we would like to hear from you. We are a Wrap Around Care provider within the school grounds of Wheatcroft School, Stanstead Road, Hertford. We are open Monday to Friday term time 7.20-9.10 and 2.30-6.10pm. We would also like to provide around 5 admin hours per week to be worked flexibly within the day. In the school holidays, we would require shifts to be worked at Hertingfordbury Cowper School, Hertford. The holiday club is open Tuesday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and we would be happy to discuss working hours being 1 half day, 3 full days or anything in between.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the manager on a day-to-day basis
- Covering in the manager's absence
- Working with children aged 3 to 11 years old
- Working in partnership with the school staff team
- Providing the team with support, supervisions, and guidance
- Daily admin, emails, registers, software systems, bookings, parent communication, planning activities
