Role Overview
The Database/CRM Specialist will be responsible for supporting and optimising our marketing operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong CRM and marketing operations experience who may be new to HubSpot but is confident learning new platforms quickly. You will play a key role in improving how we manage data, execute campaigns, and measure performance across the funnel.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise the HubSpot platform to support marketing and sales activity.
- Build and maintain marketing workflows, email campaigns, and lead nurturing programmes.
- Ensure data quality, segmentation, and lifecycle stage management across the CRM.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align processes and improve lead handover.
- Create and manage dashboards and reports to track campaign and pipeline performance.
- Support campaign execution, including email, landing pages, and forms.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and user adoption.
- Assist with integrations between HubSpot and other tools where required.
- Document processes and provide training and regular support to internal users.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience in marketing operations or CRM management.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems such as Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar.
- Experience with marketing automation, lead scoring, and segmentation.
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams, particularly sales and marketing.
- Comfortable learning new platforms and technologies quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Desirable (not essential)
- Experience with integrations or tools such as Zapier or middleware platforms.
- Familiarity with GDPR and data compliance in marketing systems.
