We are seeking an experienced & GDS trained Flight & Travel Coordinator to join a fun and friendly team based in the Gloucester area, hybrid working model. This fantastic forward-thinking travel company offers an array of travel types across the globe including adventure and luxury tailormade travel.
This exciting Flight & Travel Coordinator role is ideal for a sales support, ticketing, operations or administration travel professional conversant with GDS.
Flight & Travel Coordinator Duties:- In conjunction with Flights Expert, making sure one is buying flights at the most competitive rates.
- Maintain positive relationships with all airlines and consolidators.
- Issue tickets.
- Assist with BSP reconciliation.
- Assist sales team with flights enquiries – fares, change rules, ticketing deadlines, seating.
- Manage Qs.
- Oversee the allocation of PNRs to individual travel consultants’ queues.
- Highlight any PNRs that need immediate action.
- Monthly reconciliation of carbon measurements.
- Manage any group / charter flight allocations.
- Liaise with Travel Consultant / Product Director to advise best flights to use for groups.
To be considered for the Flight & Travel Coordinator role one must have GDS experience from a travel agent, tour operator or airline.
