Platinum Travel Recruitment is seeking a forward-thinking and experienced Private Travel and Events Consultant to join a dynamic company based in London. The ideal Travel and Events Specialist will be responsible for providing high-end personal lifestyle support and travel and events management. This role would suit a confident event or travel professional who is organised and enjoys working in a busy and fast-paced environment with experience in handling travel, events and concierge.
You will be expected to work with minimal guidance, act on urgent priorities, and act with a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
Private Travel and Events Consultant Duties:- Complex diary management across different time zones.
- Extensive travel management and provision of expert advice and recommendations on worldwide luxury destinations.
- Staying current on trends and curated retreats to offer a bespoke service.
- Handling all bookings, including flights, hotels, private transportation, experiences and fine dining reservations.
- Meticulously planning every aspect of travel and events to ensure a perfect, seamless experience.
- Creating detailed travel plans and itineraries.
- Negotiating with hotels, tour operators and other suppliers to secure the best value in line with budgets set.
- Ability to organise and manage social engagements and events.
- Handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Manage personal appointments (e.g. medical, legal, wellness, family).
- Solid experience and knowledge of the travel industry (lifestyle management and/or events) with key supplier travel contacts.
- Impeccable discretion, loyalty, and professionalism.
- Longevity in roles is essential.
- Extensive experience with lifestyle planning and executing high-profile events, from intimate dinners to large-scale social gatherings.
- Experience working across multiple time zones, with a flexible approach to scheduling and availability.
