We are seeking an experienced Travel Sales Manager to join a successful tour operator, hybrid working model based in Hertfordshire. This role’s purpose is to lead and motivate a sales team, ensuring they meet performance targets through regular feedback and coaching. It involves managing team schedules, appraisals, and payroll reporting, while also supporting phone operations and building relationships with partners. To be considered for the Travel Sales Manager role the applicant must have sales management experience within a tour operator and happy to work in the Hertfordshire office a few days a week. Travel Sales Manager Duties: * Lead and motivate a team of Sales Consultant’s. * Monitor the team’s performance. * Ensure the team have regular 1-2-1`s, ad-hoc coaching and team briefings to discuss performance. * Monitor overtime, bonus amounts and report to HR in time for payroll. * Set team targets and own the departmental incentive schemes. * Build rapport and relationships with travel agencies. * Work with the wider Management Team to ensure new recruits are given comprehensive training on sales, service, destinations we offer and our product. * Attend trade shows and events. Locations ideal for this role include St Albans, Hatfield, Potters Bar, Barnet, Harpenden, Hitchin, Harlow, Stansted, and Wheathampsted
