Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Operations Manager to join a forward thinking travel company, hybrid working based in London. The ideal Travel Operations Manager will strategically develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.\\n\\nTo be considered for this post the applicant must have operational management experience in business and/or leisure travel, converse with GDS and happy to visit the London office on a hybrid basis.\\n\\nTravel Operations Manager Duties:\\n\\n * Ensure efficient Service Desk operations and promptly\\n\\n * Manage daily operations and oversee quality assurance programs.\\n\\n * Assess departmental reports to optimize team efficiency and profitability.\\n\\n * Monitor service levels to ensure client satisfaction.\\n\\n * Motivate employees through positive encouragement & incentives.\\n\\n * Handle client and supplier complaints according to company processes.\\n\\n * Ensure quality control and accurate reporting within agreed time scales.\\n\\n * Attend client and supplier functions to develop relationships.\\n\\n * Assist team members and promote positive working relationships.\\n\\n * Identify potential employees and new business opportunities.\\n\\nTravel Operations Manager – Essential Requirements\\n\\n * Minimum of 4 years of operational management experience within the travel industry is essential.\\n\\n * Excellent knowledge of at least two GDS (priority given to Galileo, and Amadeus then Sabre)\\n\\n * Strong knowledge of travel products, including rail, hotel programs, and car hire.\\n\\n * Understanding of account management and MIS reporting.\\n\\nLucrative salary, health care, pension, career progression, travel perks, modern offices, hybrid model and many other benefits are on offer
