Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant duties:

• Arrange an array of travel services for corporate clients including flights, hotels, lounges, car hire, etc.
• Assist clients with travel bookings, and process this in an efficient and competent manner.
• Offer an out of hours service to clients.
• Re-issue and perform re-calculations of international and domestic airfares.
• Sourcing the best and most cost-effective worldwide routes, booking all flights, rail, hotel, and all ground products.
• Provide additional Quality Control to day team processes when call volumes permit.
• Provide 'risk analysis' of global travel news.
• Communicate with customers, whether by telephone, email or in person, in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide an excellent service via communications with customers and the accuracy of bookings.
• Provide clients with suitable travel options and suggestions for the best way to meet their requirements.
• Proactively maintain relationships with clients at all times.

OOH Business Travel Consultant – Essential requirements:

• Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant is essential.
• A good working knowledge of GDS / CRS flight systems such as Galileo, Amadeus or Sabre.
• Excellent fares knowledge, Cat35 and Route Deals.
• Excellent ticketing experience.
• Fares & Ticketing Level 1 & 2 (or equivalent experience) essential.
• Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Possess good geographical and product knowledge of destinations and airlines.
