Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Galileo trained Operations Ticketing Executive to join our clients Sales Support team on a full-time, hybrid basis in London.\\n\\nOur client is a well established travel company that offer a range of holiday types to clients. Career progression, fun working team and many perks are on offer.\\n\\nOperations Ticketing Executive Duties:\\n\\n * Book and ticket international and domestic air travel using Galileo GDS system\\n\\n * Confidently and effectively manage schedule changes, cancellations, re-issues and refunds within deadlines and whilst ensuring minimal costs and penalties to the business.\\n\\n * Ticketing using Galileo.\\n\\n * Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of fare rules, airline policies and company terms & conditions.\\n\\n * Book on-request ground elements via various platforms including hotels, cruise, rail, ferries, car hire, motorhome, excursions & transfers.\\n\\n * Stay updated on airline and supplier policy changes, industry regulations, and travel technology tools.\\n\\nOperations Ticketing Executive – Essential Requirements:\\n\\n * Ticketing experience using Galileo is essential\\n\\n * Previous experience from within travel operations, customer support within a tour operator is key.\\n\\n * Proficient Galileo GDS experience is essential.\\n\\n * Strong knowledge of international fare and airline rules along with the ability to communicate effectively with external contacts.\\n\\n * Additional knowledge of cruise, rail and ground products would be a strong advantage.\\n\\nOperations Ticketing Executive – Benefits:\\n\\n * Travel perks\\n\\n * Career progression\\n\\n * Hybrid working – 3 days a week in the office, 2 days from home\\n\\n * Private Health Insurance\\n\\n * Qualification Support\\n\\n * Life Assurance\\n\\n * Travel Loan\\n\\n * Cycle to Work\\n\\n * Recognition awards\\n\\n * Wellbeing\\n\\n * Bonus\\n\\nPlease note only suitable candidates with UK based tour operator experience with Galileo ticketing experience, happy to work hybrid in London will be contacted for the Operations post
