We are seeking an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join a forward thinking and dynamic travel company, hybrid working in the Newcastle area. This exciting Business Travel role is ideal for an experienced Business Travel Consultant seeking a rewarding career with a supportive team.
Business Travel Consultant – Duties:
- Crafting global travel itineraries as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
- Deliver a personalised travel experience and service companies for their travel needs.
- Booking flights, accommodation and a wide range of travel services using GDS.
- Building strong relationships with travel bookers and travellers.
- Deliver a high touch service that supports the client’s programme objectives.
- Offer consistently high levels of service delivery and exceeding client expectations.
Business Travel Consultant – Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in corporate travel is essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in travel booking systems, with knowledge of Travelport (or other GDS), Evolvi, and web-based technology as an advantage.
- Knowledge of IATA published fares and net ticketing is beneficial.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and a team player.
