Platinum Travel Recruitment are collaborating with a fabulous forward thinking Destination Management Company (DMC) who are now seeking an experienced Inbound Travel Quotation Executive to join its friendly team, hybrid working.

Experience in handling groups to the USA, Nordics market, in the UK is essential from an inbound travel company (DMC).

Inbound Travel Quotation Executive – Duties

  • Build professional relations via networking and calls, creating proactively opportunities for the brand to be considered for groups travelling to the USA, Nordics or the UK.
  • Quote all groups visiting USA, Nordics or the UK and producing suitable and competitive quotes with unstoppable energy.
  • Build relationships and maintain a great working relationship with clients, suppliers and fellow team members.
  • Being pro-active and able to recognize potential key wins and to offer the most suitable products and prices for the specific potential client.
  • Identify the most suitable products for the client in order to create the most effective and competitive offer.
  • Take responsibility for placing the groups in the right hotels, based on offer accepted by client, program and quotation, always negotiating under budget where possible, in order to increasing the margin, without compromising on quality.
  • To keep abreast of who are competitors are, who they work with (both clients and suppliers) and what they are offering.

Inbound Travel Quotation Executive – Essential Requirements

  • Fluency in English and a second European language (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian) is essential, and a third language would be advantageous.
  • Experience within a UK and Ireland inbound operator in a groups role handling the groups visiting either the UK, USA and/or the Nordic destinations.
  • Proven experience of preparing quotes and operating groups.
  • Familiarity with use of Tourplan is a plus.
  • Ability to be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Enjoy the buzzing energy of the travel industry.
