Exciting role for a sales professional from a travel agent or tour operator. Our client offers an array of travel destinations, due to demand for the Indian Ocean and Caribbean now seeking an experienced Indian Ocean & Caribbean Travel Specialist to join its supportive and friendly team, hybrid working model.
If you have sold the beautiful Indian Ocean and Caribbean from a tour operator or travel agent, happy to work in a hybrid basis this is the role for you. To be considered for the role the applicant MUST have sold and been to some parts of the Indian Ocean and Caribbean from a travel agent or a tour operator.
Indian Ocean and Caribbean Travel Specialist Duties:- Arrange and sell a diverse portfolio of stunning island destinations across the Indian Ocean, including Mauritius, Seychelles and the Maldives along with Sri Lanka, as well as the Caribbean featuring Barbados, St Kitts, Cuba plus other beautiful island escapes.
- Respond to client enquiries and offer a cutting edge customer service.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, such as room upgrades, special packages, to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Accommodate special requests and preferences, such as room preferences and special occasions.
- Offer information about the property, facilities, and local attractions to help guests plan their stay and make the most of their visit.
- Support with generating new enquiries and following up with key accounts to increase booking numbers and revenue.
