We are delighted to be recruiting for a Hearing Care Assistant to join a truly patient-focused independent practice in Somerset. This is a rare opportunity to step into a calm, unhurried environment where care comes before targets and appointments are structured. The practice is housed in a beautiful building with plenty of character, providing a warm and welcoming environment to work from, with a loyal and well-established patient base.
The Practice:
- 3-5 days per week with flexibility around start and finish times if needed.
- Family friendly.
- 45-minute ear wax removal appointments.
- 1-hour hearing tests.
- Dedicated clinical room for ear wax removal - your own space.
- Team of 3-4 in a close-knit, supportive setting.
- High-quality equipment including ENT microscope, loupes, irrigation machine, tympanometer and audiometer.
- Provide hearing tests, hearing aid fittings and repairs.
- Autonomy when selecting hearing aid manufacturers working with leading brands including Oticon and Starkey.
- Support available for further development, including ear wax removal training or future audiology progression.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Hearing Care Assistant ideally with ear wax removal experience.
- Willing to train for the right person.
- Could be a Pharmacist with ear wax removal experience.
- Could be an Optical Assistant / Audiology professional looking to complete an ear wax removal course.
- Strong customer service background with personality and a genuine passion for patient care!
- Someone who values quality, continuity and building long-term patient relationships.
