We’re partnering with a large, international online retail organisation operating across multiple European markets. The business is undergoing a period of growth and is investing in strengthening its commercial capabilities through structured, scalable training programmes.
About the Role
This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating commercial training programmes that support the development of retail teams across Europe. The focus is on first-party (1P) retail operations, including inventory ownership, pricing, supply chain, merchandising, and retail strategy. You will work closely with commercial, supply chain, and operational stakeholders, and support the rollout of training through a network of regional and category leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a European commercial training strategy aligned with business objectives
- Design and deliver training covering 1P retail operations, supply chain, merchandising, and retail strategy
- Partner with stakeholders to identify capability gaps and create targeted learning solutions
- Support and develop a European network of category or functional leads to enable programme delivery
- Ensure training content remains relevant by tracking industry trends and learning best practices
- Measure programme effectiveness and use insights to continuously improve impact
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in a commercial role within online retail (e.g. 1P retail, supply chain, merchandising, category management, or retail strategy)
- Experience designing and delivering training programmes, either in a training role or as part of a commercial function
- Strong understanding of e-commerce retail operations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Solid project management capability and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exposure to adult learning principles, instructional design, or digital learning platforms is beneficial
- CIPD, PMP, or ATD certifications would be an advantage
