Platinum Search Recruitment is actively working alongside an established award winning specialist Main Contractor in their search for an M&E Project Manager/Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client designs, builds and maintains specialist facilities across the UK. With a background of hundreds of projects across Europe, they are now a leading D&B contractor within their specialist market across the UK.

Our clients head office is located in Slough, but with projects across the UK, the role / working week would be split between sites and office working with home working agreed with your line manager. They are looking for a Candidate (Electrically biased) with knowledge of mechanical systems would be an advantage but not a critical requirement. A candidate who wants a long-term engagement and can integrate with the existing team and add their own experiences and personality to each and every project.

M&E Project Manager responsibilities:

  • Review client requirements / drawings in line with the companies standards.
  • Liaise with internal and external designers.
  • Review design drawings and calculations, internally and externally.
  • Coordinate between designers, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Attend Client meetings.
  • Advise on client changes.
  • Address contractor questions and co-ordinate.
  • Monitor M & E works programs in line with the construction program.
  • Oversee on site installation.
  • Review and comment on Variation costs.
  • Advise on commissioning programs.
  • Review and comment on O & M Manuals.
  • Report and have clear lines of communication with your line manager.

M&E Project Manager required qualifications:

  • Time served Electrical Apprenticeship with Electrical qualifications associated qualifications. BS7671.
  • Testing & Inspection Qualifications BS2391.
  • Electrical design Qualification / full design understanding BS2396.
