Platinum Search Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing main contractor based in Kent, who are looking to appoint an Estimator to support their expanding commercial team on a permanent full time basis. Successful applicants must have experience within Heritage projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, reputable business delivering a diverse range of projects across the South East, including refurbishment, heritage, and new build schemes. Please note this is a full time office based role.
Our client is seeking to appoint an Estimator with heritage experience to take on a key role within their pre-construction function, following a planned retirement within the team. Working closely with the Directors and trusted supply chain, you will be involved in pricing a broad range of projects, typically valued between 100k and 2m, with increasing exposure to schemes up to 4m.
Senior Estimator Responsibilities:- Preparing competitive and accurate tenders from drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation
- Producing detailed take-offs and building rates from first principles
- Sourcing and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Compiling clear and commercially robust tender submissions, including risk allowances and exclusions
- Engaging with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners throughout the tender process
