Platinum Search Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Working Foreman to join a busy and growing construction team delivering high-quality projects across a variety of sectors including commercial, education, industrial, and leisure. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and well-established contractor with a strong reputation for excellence, quality delivery, and professional development. Valid CSCS Card, SSSTS & First Aid Certificate is essential.

As Working Foreman, you will play a key role in coordinating site operations, maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety, and liaising closely with senior management to ensure projects are delivered successfully and on schedule. Project locations are varied across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire & occasionally Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage working schedules for site teams
  • Place orders for required equipment and materials
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors when required with management approval
  • Allocate tasks effectively to site operatives
  • Ensure works progress efficiently and to programme
  • Keep management updated on project progress and developments
  • Ensure projects are completed on or before deadlines
  • Maintain safe systems of work on site and ensure all operatives adhere to health & safety procedures
  • Ensure all work is completed to the required specification and quality standards
Skills & Experience Required
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Familiarity with industry ISO standards
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with clients and teams across various sectors
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Proven experience within a similar Working Foreman role
  • Trade background preferred
