We’re recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join a highly respected manufacturing business in Ringwood. Key Responsibilities: As Production Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, and continuous improvement objectives are achieved.

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of approximately 20 electro-mechanical assemblers
  • Translate production plans into daily schedules and labour allocation
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to resolve production issues and minimise downtime
  • Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S, standard work, and root cause analysis
  • Ensure products are built to specification with full traceability and documentation
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture across the shop floor
  • Use ERP systems to monitor output, labour utilisation, and production progress
  • Support recruitment, training, performance reviews, and cross-skilling

What we’re looking for: To be successful in this Production Supervisor role, you’ll need:

  • Previous experience supervising a production or assembly team in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of Electrical Production and electro-mechanical assembly processes
  • Experience using MRP or ERP systems
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and BOM structures
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop others
  • A problem-solving mindset with experience implementing corrective actions
  • Good IT skills including Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety best practice
