Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Diagnose and rectify faults on production and site equipment
- Work on extruders, thermoformers, compressors, conveyors, pumps and HVAC systems
- Assist with machinery installations and commissioning
- Complete maintenance reports and documentation
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects
- Manage spare parts and inventory levels
- Work closely with production teams and contractors
What we’re looking for
- A recognised mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, ONC or HNC)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of PPM systems
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Desirable skills include welding, fabrication and abrasive wheels training. This role operates on a Panama shift pattern, covering days, nights and weekends, averaging 42 hours per week.
