Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring guest bedrooms and public areas are cleaned and presented to the highest standards
- Supervising and inspecting guest rooms and public areas
- Allocating daily cleaning duties in line with business needs
- Monitoring the efficiency of the linen service and assisting with linen stocktakes
- Ordering, receiving and issuing cleaning materials
- Processing guest and team member laundry and dry cleaning in line with procedures
- Recording and reporting maintenance faults and damages
- Ensuring housekeeping equipment is used safely and effectively
- Supporting the housekeeping team with room servicing when required, including assisting as a room attendant where needed
- Managing lost property in accordance with company procedures
- Following all Health & Safety and Fire procedures at all times
What we're looking for
- Previous Housekeeping Supervisor experience within a busy hospitality environment
- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Experience supervising housekeeping teams
- A hands‑on approach and willingness to support as a room attendant when required
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and health & safety standards
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
