What you'll be doing
As Hotel Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring every department delivers outstanding service while driving commercial success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading Heads of Department across housekeeping, kitchen, front of house and events
- Managing daily hotel operations, including rooms, food and beverage, weddings and events
- Inspiring, developing and supporting a team of around 45 employees
- Taking ownership of the guest journey and maintaining exceptional service standards
- Managing budgets, labour costs and overall financial performance
- Monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities to increase revenue
- Supporting pricing strategies and maximising direct bookings
- Ensuring operational standards are consistently maintained across the hotel
What we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional who can confidently lead from the front. Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous Hotel Manager experience within a boutique or similar hotel environment
- Experience managing a hotel with 25-30 bedrooms and significant annual turnover
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-department teams
- Commercial awareness with the ability to interpret P&L reports and manage budgets
- Experience overseeing weddings and events
- A hands-on management style with a visible presence throughout the hotel
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
