Digital Systems Manager NIFRS Headquarters Lisburn Temporary (Up to 6 months with possibility of extension) £24.41 per hour To provide a specialist technical and business expertise for the diverse range of IT Line of Business Systems and Services. These services are provided for the management of Line of Business, Operational, Technical and Specialist systems and applications to include hardware, software, training, project management, IT services and IT related communication resources. To ensure the effective and efficient provision of support and services, including development and maintenance, of IT Line of Business Systems in line with NIFRS organisational need. As an integral member of the IT Team, provide a modern, professional and customer focused service to support the vision and mission of NIFRS. IT System Management # To provide a specialist technical knowledge and business expertise for the management of IT Line of Business (LOB) Systems and Services including, but not limited to Finance, HR, Stores, Prevention and Protection, Fleet and Operational Applications. # Manage and participate in the development and implementation of NIFRS IT LOB existing systems and new projects to meet business goals and objectives. # Manage the day to day LOB IT Systems Service Requests and Incidents using a Service Management tool, ensuring SLA standards are in place and met both internally and externally. Business Planning # To work with senior staff, both within IT and across the organisation, to assist in delivery of the overall strategic priorities of the organisation. # To have lead responsibility for all IT line of business systems to develop solutions and options to IT related problems. Assist to deliver forecasting information and expert advice on a range of organisational-wide change projects and policy initiatives; To maintain up to date relevant IT knowledge to maximise the use of IT Services with ongoing research and monitoring of IT developments. # People Management #Assist in providing leadership to others within the IT team and wider management and directorate teams to ensure a highly skilled, flexible and motivated workforce. # To provide supervision responsibilities for IT colleagues both temporary and permanent, providing support, guidance and supervising their workload for quality and quantity. Governance, Data & Information Assurance # To comply with, and enforce, all NIFRS frameworks, policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to legal requirements such as equality, health and safety and information governance. # Advise senior management, as required, on applicable legislation, policies and processes. # Act as a liaison for internal and external audit, ensuring the accurate and timely provision of IT information as requested.
