The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Prepare and collate documentation to support the Learning and Development function to include liaising with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
-Set up and maintain appropriate electronic event booking and filing systems.
- Input and maintenance of computerised data relating to training records, attendance records, participant data, evaluations, and all necessary records.
-Support the provision and co-ordination of learning and development events and conferences, to include planning, preparation, recruitment, risk assessments and management on the day.

Provide advice and guidance on learning and development provisions across the organisation in response to queries.

Support the requisition and administration of processes including the raising of purchasing orders, requisitions and checking of invoices for learning and development requirements.
-Provide clerical support for relevant meetings, record of minutes and keep robust records to support high quality governance arrangements.
- Provide advice, guidance and administrative support on HR L&D Policy, Procedures and Schemes including Staff Appraisal, Job Transfer, Capability, Facilities for Study.
2.0 Customer Feedback
-Monitor and receipt of all Customer Feeback correspondence, acknowledge receipt of and refer to relevant manager for appropriate follow up action and respond to any queries.
- Maintain Customer Feedback data in line with records management.
-Collate and analyse customer feedback and produce monthly management information reports to support organisational and staff development.
-Collate and analyse data and produce timely reports to inform Libraries NI Board, Committees and statutory requirements including data protection legislation.
-Ensure updated customer feedback information is maintained and uploaded to the staff Intranet.
3 PEOPLE SERVICES AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS
-Provide advice, support and guidance to managers and staff on all aspects of terms and conditions of employment ensuring that agreements, entitlements, benefits, schemes, pension, etc. are fairly and consistently applied and communicated.
- Administer unpaid and paid leave provisions including annual, statutory, discretionary, facilities time for trade union duties and maintain records, and produce reports as required.
-Administer termination of employment including redundancy and the preparation of estimated costs including pensions.

Maintain and update staffing establishment records/structures as required.

Support the implementation and administration of Human Resource manual and computerised information systems to support the accurate recording of employee records and payment of staff, ensuring all records management processes are complete.

Ensure the provision of timely and effective communication with other service users.
-Support the provision of recruitment and selection processes.
-Assist with the delegation of work tasks and the supervision of HR Assistants/Admin staff.
Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or two GCE A Levels, or BTEC National or equivalent/higher qualifications
AND
- a minimum of one years’ experience working in an office environment carrying out a range of administrative duties
OR
-A minimum of four years’ experience working in an office environment carrying out a range of administrative duties
OR
-A minimum of two years’ experience working in an HR department carrying out a range of HR related administrative duties.
-Experience of working with internal and external partners/stakeholders to support service provision.
-Experience of working as part of a team.
-Working knowledge of utilising IT systems and standard software e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to manipulate and present information.
-Applicants must have access to a suitable vehicle (appropriately maintained and insured for Libraries NI business) or other suitable form of transport which will enable the successful candidate to fulfil the requirements of the post to the satisfaction of Libraries NI. A minimum of one years’ experience in the supervision of staff.
-HR Qualification e.g. CIPD level 3 or above or degree with HR as a main component.
